The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in acoustics and sound measurement, along with proven experience in integrating audio systems into automotive environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct acoustic tests and measurements within vehicles to evaluate sound quality and the performance of audio systems.
  • Utilize measurement tools such as REW (Room EQ Wizard), Head Acoustics, and other software to calibrate and optimize audio systems.
  • Analyze test results to identify and address acoustic issues, including reverberation, external noise, and interference.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to implement solutions that enhance vehicle acoustic performance.
  • Verify the integration of audio systems with vehicles using CAN bus protocols.
  • Contribute to the development of technical documentation and reports for both clients and internal teams.

Requirements

  • Degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of acoustics and measurement techniques, with the ability to perform audio tests and analyze data related to reverberation, background noise, and sound propagation within vehicle cabins.
  • Experience with automotive audio systems, including knowledge of DSP (Digital Signal Processing), equalization, and audio system configuration.
  • Proficiency in using acoustic measurement tools such as REW, Head Acoustics, Matlab, Simulink, or similar software for analysis and acoustic simulation.
  • Familiarity with automotive communication protocols, particularly CAN bus and other vehicle networks.
  • Exceptional attention to detail in measurements and data interpretation.

Nice to Have:
