AMBITIOUS Project Consortium Meeting

September ended with three days dedicated to the AMBITIOUS project consortium
meeting in Bologna, where project partners came together to review progress, discuss key
developments, and refine strategies for the upcoming phases of the project. The
opportunity to meet face-to-face has created a dynamic and collaborative atmosphere, that
promises great things for the future of the project.

The first day laid a strong foundation for the exciting work ahead, featuring a series of
insightful presentations, strategic discussions, and interactive sessions. The initial
presentations from RE:LAB and other partners provided an in-depth overview of their
contributions to the project.
We were also joined by the External Advisory Board, sharing valuable advice and
perspectives on how we can optimize the project’s impact as well as the Project Officer
from the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA). This
session ensured that all partners are aligned with the broader vision of AMBITIOUS and
aware of the milestones we need to hit to succeed. The meeting was a culmination of
productive discussions that will shape the direction of the project moving forward.
One of the main areas of focus discussion was related to data sharing and integration, with
the consortium emphasizing the importance of seamless data flow between partners, work
packages (WPs), and various use cases.
A key topic was the development of communication protocols and cybersecurity,
recognizing the need to implement robust protocols that ensure the security and privacy of
shared data across all partners as a priority to maintain compliance with privacy standards
and to safeguard the integrity of the project’s information exchange.
Another key theme of the meeting was how to best integrate technological solutions into
the project’s platforms to achieve scalable, sustainable, and innovative results.
Finally, the consortium discussed the importance of identifying synergies and developing
new demo cases.
Collaboration among project partners is essential to the success of AMBITIOUS, and the
meeting led to the identification of synergies between different activities in order to
facilitate the creation of new demo cases—real-world applications of the project’s
technologies—and help expand the project’s reach and impact by involving more
collaborators and showcasing the power of the solutions being developed. The
AMBITIOUS project meeting and the discussions held in Bologna will serve as a solid
foundation as we move into the next phase of the project, focused on turning ideas into
action and creating tangible impacts across industries and sectors.
